Blog Category Filter

Description

Let visitors filter your posts by category instantly — no page reloads, and it matches your site’s look automatically.

Blog Category Filter adds a clean, fast category filter to any page with a single shortcode. Visitors click a category and the post grid updates instantly, right there on the page — no reload, no jarring jump, no separate archive pages to hunt through.

Key Features

– One shortcode, works anywhere — drop it into any page, post, or builder module (Divi, Elementor, block editor, and more)
– Instant AJAX filtering — clicking a category swaps the post grid with no page reload
– Match your theme automatically — colors, borders, and accents can follow your active theme’s own palette, or you can set every color yourself
– Three layouts — pills, underlined tabs, or a dropdown, with an automatic dropdown on phones
– Fully customizable — button size, corner radius, spacing, grid columns, image shape, shadows, and which post details show, all from one settings screen with a live preview
– Load more, not just pagination — posts load in place as visitors ask for more, keeping them on the page
– Works with custom post types and taxonomies, not just the default blog
– Accessible by design — keyboard operable, screen-reader friendly, and respects reduced-motion settings
– Per-shortcode overrides — style or configure a specific filter differently from your site-wide defaults without touching code

Requirements: WordPress 5.9 or later.
